Camera Tests: iPad 2 Vs Motorola Xoom Vs Samsung Galaxy Tab
iPad 2 comes equipped with two cameras, a front facing camera for FaceTime video calling feature and a rear camera, which can be used during a video call, to shoot HD videos or to take still photos.
Folks at Macworld tested the image and video quality of iPad 2’s camera and compared them with Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab’s camera.

the cameras are just fine for video conferencing (yahoo, facetime). you dont want to hold a device this big to shoot pictues or videos

Since the camera's suck on the iPad 2, of course everyone is going to say that they only use them for video conferencing anyways. If the camera's were great then they'd all be saying how awesome it is for taking pictures too. They'll cover for Apple no matter what Apple does. Simple as that!

The Galaxy Tab Camera is quite good, the 10.1 inch boasts of a 8 megapixel.

Why does the audio on the video say they are all taken with a Sony Cybershot? They aren't even labeled so we have no idea which are iPad,Xoom or Galexy Tab,

Why does everyone thing megapixel is an indication of quality. Shouldn't the above article prove just that. It's combiniation of the ccd, the saving method and megapixels. Megapixels alone don't count for everything. I've seen pictures take with a 5 MP SLR look ten times better than a 12MP point & shoot.
