here's an idea: why not charge $10 or $20 for the unlock > there would be enough people who would pay for it, myself included > this was dev team would not only get the satisfaction of success, they would also get paid for it.

Hi, may I dare to strongly suggest to the Dev Team and competing hackers, that you politely simply give up and bow out to Apple, concerning unlocking their later basebands? Realistically, now there are ONLY two choices to get an unlocked phone....a) you pay for factory unlocked....or b) you keep believing in the tooth fairy too.

I just got the gervey sim and yay my iPhone is unlocked now but the problem i have no reception alot of the time and you have to do the whole airplane on and off dial 112 everytime which is frustrating.So still waiting for a 4.2.1 03.10.01 unlock

So the phone is shitty because your not using it on verizon or at&T .. but onc eyou unlock it to the service provider you want, it won't be shitty? Sounds like you have serious problems with dimensional reality. In this one, its not the service provider that makes the phone.

i found out that http://iphoneunlocking.com/ advertised that they can unlock all the iphone 4's. No matter what firmware your iphone 4 has. But you have to pay 24.99$ to unlock your iphone. Is this site fake? please help me on this matter? Thanks all

Why didn't these gurus work out our friggin GPS was going to be fucked when they told us to jump on the miracle ipad baseband 6.15.00? Hi guys - I need help. I have a iphone 4 and it was jailbroken via "jailbreakme" and unlocked by "ultrasn0w." and firmware 01.59.00 I want to upgrade to 4.2.1 or higher. How do i go about doing it. i know cydia preserves my baseband?? Help please!Thanks,Dave

Ok this is my problem I originally had 4.01 installed on iPhone 4 which was jail broken, I messed it up by using erase everything thru iPhone and was stuck on apple spinning logo. I then made it work again by doing a custom restore with 4.2.1 restore with tiny umbrella in background preserving my unlockable baseband which I need. Once I finished restore thru iTunes I was stuck in dfu but made it work again with redsnow for windows by forcing a bootup then I unlocked and got it to work. After a minute my screen went to sleep and was dead and couldn't come on. I tried redsnow again and nothing it doesn't work, no custom restores work thru iTunes again either, they all go thru on computer successfully but my iPhone is just a black screen. The baseband is definately still preserved as I used service with simple mobile and checked it on about, it said 4.2.1 and baseband 01.59. After researching this problem I see many people have it- it's called a "dfu loop" , any ideas what to do? Maybe restoring with originally firmware and tiny umbrella in background? I'm kinda scared it may still update my baseband, please help somebody :( sux to be without an iPhone, ESP paying $520 for it that I can't even use.

4.3.1 should be released very soon so i0n1c’s jailbreak should be released soon.I never got any of the snowbreeze jailbreaks to work.

Try downloading RecBoot to see if it will kick you out of DFU mode.
