Celeste: Jailbreak App Allows iPhone, iPad And iPod Touch Users To Transfer Files To Any Device Via Bluetooth
iPhone comes with Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR technology but it only support the Bluetooth Headset Profile, A2DP and Bluetooth Hands-free Profile 1.5. iPhone users still can’t transfer files between iOS devices or any other Bluetooth device, which is the most commonly requested application in the Bluetooth stack.
CocoaNuts has released a jailbreak app called Celeste Bluetooth File Transfer that will allow jailbroken iPhone users to transfer files to other Bluetooth devices.

Do both iDevices need to be jailbroken for this to work?
-
I made a mistake... I bought it too quick and it can not be installed on iOS 4.1....
-
we bought and test found it not workwho will going to buy please wait..
-
anyway, i'm not quite often using bluetooth to transfer files. USB cable is much usable.

What a rip!!!!
-
$7.99!! a launch SALE?!? Not for me.
-
That is way too expensive, for me anyway
-
I'm not gonna buy it...$7.99 that must be a joke!!! Keep waiting...
-
For an app that ain't essential to have, $2.99 already sounds expensive. That's just me!
-
That is too expensive on a sale.
-
No way ... Just **** ... 7.99$
-
I am thinking $0.99 at launch, $1.99 down the road sounds reasonable.
-
Since a few month Jailbreak apps are more and more expensive...Even a legit app would not cost that much!!!And do not forget that if you loose your JB, app is useless!!!!!Do not complain if it goes for free on other repo, get real, single feature/simple system apps at $1.99 is a maximum.
-
I bought it today 3/25/11,Test on my Iphone 4 OS 4.2.1 ....Found it Not Work...NO GOOD NO GOOD..I WANT MY MONEY BACK...CELESTE.....who will going to buy please wait...NO ONE???
-
Not working for me either.
-
hell now that's too much for an app and it's not working.. sorry Cydia keep it for you guys
-
Have only been able to receive a file from one other persons phone. Haven't been able to send or receive to or from my ipad to iphone. for the cost of the app it sure performs beyond pathetically.
-
devs wonder why people have no qualms pirating their work while they keep releasing rubish that doesn't even work
-
lol i just got it, works nice, transfers files (music) in a pretty good speed, everything works nice.Cons. when im looking for my friends bluetooth signal all bluetooths shows has Unknow, at least the 3 times i aready use it :Dprice? kinda expensive but if you aready jailbreak your phone to avoid pay for apps, im sure 7.99 is nothing compare to all you aready have with payment. so don't be cheap.

I thought there used to be 3-days sale offer for 7,99$! You see this offer still on cydia, but you can only buy it for 9,99$ this is not fair,....!!!
-
I really need it and it's good to have an app like this but I think it's too expensive.
-
Celeste is at the best an alpha release; extremely buggy, transfers from Mac/PC does not work ;( Cocoanutapps usually deliver sound packages, but I don't think Celeste has been tested properly - big disappointment !
-
Affffz..Celeste not working on my iPhone!!Great disappointment! I want my money back!
-
I bought the app at 9.99$. Soon after dowloading & installation i realised that the app doesn't have a springboard icon. You dont have much scope to fiddle around with the app.OVERALL VERY UNSTABLE & BUGGY. Not even able to send/receive any single file. So so so so bad. Hope an update might help.

Well what a rip off, does anybody really know who these clowns are? They better have a refund policy because i'm not happy.
-
Works just fine on Verizon iPhone. Been using it for two days now. Transfers files between iPhone 4 and third gen iPod touch. Also between iPhone and PC. Only complaint is it's real slow, which sucks. Kinda useless unless I can figure out the slowness issues. Later
-
i used it. i have 3g on 4.2.1 . well IS BULLSHIT IS NOT WORKING AT ALL...NEVER FIND ANY DEVICES NOT EVEN APPLE OR IPOD .. NOTHING AT ALL. MAYBE IN THEIRE NEXT LIFE WILL WORK. DONT EVEN DOWNLOAD IT
-
Holy ****, you guys are cheapskates. Obviously noone of you has EVER developed anything, otherwise you'd know what kind of work systemwide integration of a feature that's not been there before, compatible with ALL other devices, is. Go die in a fire if you pirated this.

Is Celeste available for iOS 4.3.1?
