iPad 2's Glass 27% Thinner; But Still Stronger Than iPad 1
When folks at iFixit disassembled iPad 2, they had raised concerns over the thickness of the glass screen, which is 27% thinner than iPad 1. They felt that it could drastically reduce the durability of iPad 2, especially the glass' resistance to shattering.
But a new test by folks at iFixYouri shows that iPad 2’s glass screen is in fact stronger than iPad 1 even though its thinner.

The iPad is real thin but the iPad 3 will be something.

And this will preserve screen from being crashed ?!Thiner and more flexible PROTECTIVE GLASS is not + for iPad2. Glass will survive but your screen will be broken :( that is bigger damage and costs a looooot more.

Flexibility is not relevant in real world of what We use the iPad for , is it.....?what about scratches???

What do you think the screen needs to be protected?....or may be the protection is just to make it look cool !
