Apple May Not Unveil iPhone 5 At WWDC 2011?
Apple announced that it will unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS X at the WorldWide Developer Conference 2011 to be held from June 6th to June 10th.
However, since it did not mention anything about the next generation iPhone, it is being widely speculated that Apple may not launch iPhone 5 this summer.

This is a clever move by Apple, who is going to buy an iPhone 4 if the iPhone 5 is out in July? Best just let everyone think it won't be released until everyone has run their stock levels down! They learnt their lessons with the iPad!

HAHA The delays is cause they are too busy playing with the iPad2. If they don't have an iPhone well I would get an iPhone 5 on my birthday :)

Id be very surprised if we dont see an iphone 5 announced at the WWDC, I think it more likely they will announce its release just like they did the 4 along side ios 4. I dont want to take an upgrade on anything less than the next iphone so please Apple dont let me down I dont want another iphone 4 and 18 month Contract only to find a couple of months later you release the iphone 5.

Smart move, sell all iphone 3gs and iphone 4 still in stock, make money bringing it to other carriers and sell out. Then make only a few to start stocking up with iphone 5. Plus possibly this will make the new phone 4G capable and keep up with the competition rather than selling outdated technology to consumers.

Anyone who goes for an iphone 3gs at this point in time is nuts or Ideal Apple fodder (retarded)Most if not all networks flog iphones on a 24 month contract. apple will most likely drop support for the 3gs before these customers are halfway through their contract.I'll wait and see what happens. Can't wait for the promo adverts for the iPhone 5 though. Apples adverts are always good for a laugh lol

i think iOS 5 at WDCC will be thing to watch but too many iOS updates with not much change in feature..that is not good to have..the changes they are making is closing the holes in iOS to stop jailbreak and unlock.

With Samsung’s Galaxy S2 coming out in June 2011.Its going to make Apple’s iPhone 5 specs paltry… Apple is going back to the drawing board to come up with something better and start distracting the consumer with a new iOS 5.

It will be useless if the iphone 5 is not 4g capable and a "world phone". The Verizon iphone 4 is an experiment with the CDMA chipset. People that have broken the phone down have said it can support "world phone" capabilities. If this is the case it will be a Homerun for Apple...
