The coolest thing that Apple unveiled at the ‘Come See What 2011 Will Be Year Of’ event was the iPad Smart Cover and not the iPad 2 as we more or less expected the new features and improvements based on the rumors and speculations.

Apple say that it’s not just smart, it’s genius and we completely agree, it’s a must have accessory for the iPad 2. But folks at Holland based Miniot have merged Apple's Smart Cover design with wood.

Looking forward to the 3rd party SmartCovers that are only $10-20 and actually come in black. Fucking Apple only sells black in the leather overpriced SmartCover.

When I tried to buy one the total after shipping was 67 euros which they said would equal $111 + some change at "todays exchange rate". I wonder where they get that exchange rate! Unless they fix that I do not think they will sell too many.
