I've never gotten any error messages about my SMS mailbox being full (and I've seen from software like this that I have threads with messages up in the 20 thousands...).
However, I love this kind of software. I use a newer one, Decipher TextMessage, that works with any generation iPhone. It's not a web service, so your texts are still secure on your machine. I believe they have a tool for voice mails too.
