I am also eagerly awaiting the iPad 2 jailbreak. The only thing that sucks for me is that I do not have my SHSH Blobs saved for iOS 4.3, I only have them saved for 4.3.1, but my iPad 2 is still running 4.3, so I still have one chance to jailbreak it! And yes that was a run on sentence.

My iPad will not power off if I leave it plugged into my PCs USB port. It will turn right back on after the Slide to Power Off cyles. IF I turn it off, then plug it in. It powers right up again.

I am trouble "encrypting" the 4.3.1 software when I unzip the file. I am on Windows 7. Any suggestions? When browsing for the file with Redsn0w for the IPSW it does not find it until it is encrypted correct?

Dont try to extract the downloaded firmware. change the file extension of the 4.3.1 software from .rar or .zip to .ipswI have windows 7 and was confused about the same issue.

Where do I go to change the file name?

Im not sure how to change the type of file on Windows 7 (im on the ladies computer and I am an Apple guy) I see it has .zip at the end but not sure how to change it to the .ipsw

Right click redsn0w.exe and press properties. Check the compatibility box and select windows XP service pack 3. Restart redsn0w and the uploading ramdisk freezing problem should be fixed. Check out my website for a video demonstration! :D

Did this on my iPad 1. Now I have the white screen of death. It went into endless recovery mode and then when I tried to kick it out of it I got the white screen of death. ANyone have any ideas? Otherwise taking it back to apple store and hopefully they'll replace it. Never had any issues jailbreaking any iDevice I've owned ever.
