Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2 For iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch, iOS 4.2.7 For Verizon iPhone
As rumored, Apple has just released iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and iOS 4.2.7 for Verizon iPhone.
According to the release notes, iOS 4.3.2 includes fixes for the iPad 3G connectivity and FaceTime issues.
Here’s the list of fixes and improvements in iOS 4.3.2:
- Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FaceTime call
- Fixes an issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad Wi-Fi + 3G

Anyone who buys a carrier locked phone to use on another network when a software unlock isn't available is an idiot. Buy factory unlocked if you just have to have an iPhone on a carrier that doesn't have them.

Dustin, it's called a stupid tax. When someone does something stupid, like pay for a JB or unlock, whatever they paid is their stupid tax. Usually, folks only pay the stupid tax once per item, because paying the tax makes them smarter. But not always, and the stupid tax is always waiting.

I bought the Gevey sim adapter and it does indeed work but the biggest problem is having to carry around my old iphone 3g and swap out the sims because the iphone 4 looses its data connection after awhile. If you don't care about data then you can use the thing forever without problems.

Unfortunately, for some it is a stupid tax. But for those that bought their iPhone 4's after IOS 4.1 are stuck with a phone that cannot be unlocked. I am talking only about the U.S. where we cannot buy unlocked contract free iPhones. Apple should offer to unlock these iPhones for about $50 if you are not tied to an AT&T or Verizon contract.

I also ordered a Gevey sim to test out, did not receive it yet. What do you mean by the iPhone 4 looses it's data after a while? Is it because you reboot or the battery died and you have to to through the steps of getting unlock again?

In less than a day, each day while using the gevey sim the iPhone 4 will loose it's data connection. The only way that I know to restore it is to reinsert your sim into a phone that is unlocked to your carrier and will reestablish the data connection. After that put sim and gevey back into iPhone 4 repeating the 112 process and your golden until you see the data icon disappear. I will honestly say this sucks a he'll of a lot but I must really want to use this phone cause I've been doing it daily. Also lookup pushfix and mitime!!!!!!

I'm overseas working and bought a factory unlocked iPhone 4 and they are not cheap. They are around $850. That makes the $185 to unlock there sound pretty cheap.

How about fixing the fucking performance of 4.3.1? How about making the iphone 4 fast again? Apple needs to stop this garbage of systematically slowing down devices to upsell future products. Its terribly immoral and i thought they would have knocked the **** off after the ios 4 3g backlash but apparently they just dont give a ****. Something needs to stop the greed and control of these fucking companies

UPDATE!!!!!!! I think the pushfix 2.0 has fixed the gevey sim issue. My data connection has been solid ever since I purchased it. I haven't had to do the swap out since Sunday and today is Wednesday so at this point I would stay away from $180 dollar unlock when you could use gevey and pushfix to create a solid experience. If it starts happening again I'll let you know.
