How would this affect people running AT&T sim but using the one step installer program? I would love to be able to keep my 3rd party unapproved apps on my iPhone and either have to load everything from strach. The 3rd part apps are a lot of fun and add featers not currently offered by Apple.

would this update come pre-loaded on new iphones being sold as well, or would they continue to be sold with 1.0.2 and 1.1.1 firmware pre-installed?

Interesting article however all those who are using the latest version of iFuntastic will notice that all of the features v1.1.2 are talking about are currently available on iPhones running v1.1.1

The new iTunes 7.5 seems to include the possibility to activate the iPhone 'wherever service is provided' (since they're going abroad). Maybe it's possible to 'fake' the Apple activation services this way.

Im wondering if we will still be able to downgrade firmware once 1.1.2 comes out. Would be nice to just downgrade 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and have our way with it. What is the likelihood of that?!!
