Websites Offering Remote iPhone Unlocking Solutions Discontinue Service
Last week, we reported about websites like CutYourSim offering remote iPhone unlocking solutions without the need to jailbreak the iPhone for a one-time fee of approximately $170.
Cult Of Mac has just reported that CutYourSim has discontinued the service and is offering refunds to customers whose iPhones could not be unlocked.
Cult of Mac reports:
What happened? Even a representative of CutYourSim doesn’t know.

tbh theres no point in wasting time trying to unlock an iphone :L with all the smartphones out there now(HTC and Blackberrys are both pretty good) on non-iphone carriers, I would happily ditch the iphone until they bring out more carriers(Y)

$170 is extreme. Well worth the 40 bucks I spent on eBay for the Gevey SIM! Works perfectly.

my friend paid for the service and it work fine.unfortunately for me, i was a little too late to send my in before the cutoff date.i do not mind to try it once they open again.been waiting for Dev team for over 4 months.
