Steve Jobs Responds To iPhone Location Tracking Issue
The iPhone location tracking issue reported last week by Security Researchers has raised quite a bit of controversy. As reported earlier today, Apple is being investigated by privacy regulators in South Korea, France, Italy and Germany, US Senators are writing open letters to Apple's CEO Steve Jobs and some have already started suing Apple.
Apple has surprisingly been silent on the issue, which is usually a good time for Steve Jobs to clarify things.

Lying bastards!Just a small drop in the war against citizens by Big Brother! They will eventually know everything about us!
-
I remember there was a plan to implement a chip in all citizens with all the information in it, so they can track us like the dogs and the cats. The "big guys" came up with a better idea, so they don't even have to force us to have the chip, we go and get it and we even pay for it:)
-
that's straight to the point.

I'd be more concerned about the Government tracking, searching, eavesdropping, prying into the life of its citizens. Homeland security is far more dangerous to US citizens than Apple could ever be. Take a pill everyone and calm down.
-
and you think the government or the homeland couldn't be a part of this? You need a pill for something.....
-
That's funny, it sounds like you are *way* too suspicious of government institutions, even though you live in a democratic country where the public has complete representation in the open parliament. And, conversely...Sounds like you are *way* too comfortable with private corporations who have no responsibility to your welfare (except a small degree of legal responsibility which is only there, because your democratic representational government put it there, no thanks to the likes of you.)How ironic! No wonder Megatron thinks the flesh creatures are so weak!

Maybe steve jobs is working as a homeland security for Apple **** government. **** you Steve Jobs

LOL jailbreak your iphone and you can stop what ever feature you want aslong as there is a willing dev to provide those "fixes".
-
In a way it is a good thing if there is a drug deal going down, or somthing illegal, u never know what the case could be. Data is very important to a company. By the way, all cell companies have a chip in their cell phones that tract their phones. Not just Apple.
-
Actually the United States is a Republic, Not a Democracy.
-
What will they do by tracking everyone?
-
Exactly! People think they too important to be tracked... Lmao
-
I really dont understand that some idiot want to use phone on his name for "some" jobs or something ! That kind of man should be locked in ! But Iphone does cost 2 f**** much for selfspying .Its just not fair against customers .
-
You are not required to purchase an iPhone.
-
I GUESS THAT APPLE NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND SELLING. THE MAJORITY OF WE THE CUSTOMERS HAVE RELIED ON THEIR DEVICES FOR A WHILE AND ISN'T FAIR THAT THEY ARE SHARING EXACT LOCATIONS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH UNDERGROUND ORGANIZATIONS. WHO WILL ACTUALLY KNOW WHETHER OR NOT THEY SAY THE TRUTH. WE PLAY NO GAMES OF CATS AND RATS.

Jailbreak, open cydia, install untrackerd and you can forget about it.
-
Oh bugger!!!! lol
-
Bloody bugger. .
-
Might as well put a collar around your necks and clip a chain to it and give it to Steve jobs. Cuz that's pretty much what you have done buying his iPhone.
-
well people I work in telecoms and guess what... all telco providers have to keep all your data for 2 years... yes so if the government or police want your X Y co-ordinatesso where you were (sorry where your phone was) dating back for 2 years the telco has to provide this........ big brother is watching you,,,,, oh and just for your info every web site you ever hit etc etc believe..... I have had to supply this info on a regular basis since 2003

..and even tho you know this, you still surf ****!tsk tsk.. in this world of sue everyone, why not try to extort a bit of cash back from apple.. everyone you do realise (have a look), that apple has allocated "billions" each year for court-cases.. yes billions.. so this is just a drop in the ocean, and when you have captured the world.. any publicity is good publicity.. I have yet seen anyone in this thread throw out their iphone cos of "tracking".. we like the phone, it has an apple logo on it, the rich and poor use it, so will continue to be slaves to the marketing machines!
