BGR has just reported that Apple is planning to launch something BIG to celebrate 10th anniversary of its retail stores.

Who says it's too early to launch the iPhone? Just because the iPhonehacks rumor mill and their second hand sources say it's too early doesn't mean it actually is. This could very well be an iPhone launch. The only people who truly know anything for sure are Apple.

No. It is only 2011 and it should be iBoard first :) iMat will come in 2014.

lets break this down, its hardware based, gigabytes of training material, needs curtains, is for everyone, so this rules out software, its a hardware device. its family friendly, must be portable, small and sleak. have to sign a NDA... i'm thinking an Apple gaming console? as Apple have done, TV, Phone, Music... havent touched gaming yet, a conversion of the AppleTV system and AppStore could bring online gaming to the household.

That's the best comment I think I have read on here, you may well be onto something. There are so many gaming apps available and everything else, I think it would be a fantastic idea. If that isn't it, maybe you should write to them suggesting that they do.

Doubt it. Why would they launch iOS 5 in their retail stores? It makes no sense.
