Loopt Brings Location-Based Groupon Now Deals To iPhone
Loopt has tied up with Groupon to bring it’s real-time offers – Groupon Now to Loopt users based on their location. They no longer need to check-in to get a deal but can get an alert on their iPhone when there is a deal nearby, which can be quite useful or annoying depending on how you look at it.
Loopt users will also start seeing Groupon Now icons when they launch the app and scroll through places around them.

I'm sure location will KILL your battery. You'd have to launch this app when you were going out, and quickly kill the backgrounding as soon as you could.
