Maps On iPhone May Continue To Use Google's Map Data In iOS 5
As you may know, the pre-installed Maps application in the iPhone uses Google’s map data. But after Apple bought Placebase and Poly9, it was widely speculated that Apple will move away from its dependency on Google as much as possible.
A job posting back in October 2009 also hinted that Apple wanted to take the Maps application to the next level.

Because the trolls like to come here. It's quite funny. They obviously have some issues if they're not content with their phones. I don't see any iphone users visiting android forums, but then again I've never been to an android forum. The only experience I have with android is from what I've used and played with personally. And I must say, I prefer ios. But that's just me and I respect others for their own preferences.

Droid does fragmentation. Haha. Okay, so maps app needs a refresh but it's hard to compete with Google maps. It's far superior to Bing maps or anything else. On the other hand Google Earth app for iPhone sucks for finding anything. They should just add turn by turn to standard maps app and continue using Google data.

Go punch yourself in the ****, fag.
