iOS 5 Vs Windows Phone 'Mango': Mobile Safari Beats Internet Explorer 9 Mobile In HTML5 Speed Test
When Microsoft previewed the next version of Windows Phone codenamed “Mango” at MIX 2011 last month, Microsoft showed off Internet Explorer 9 mobile with hardware acceleration support blowing away Mobile Safari on iPhone 4.
It hasn’t taken Apple too long to respond. WinRumors reports that Apple has substantially improved the HTML5 performance in iOS 5, which beats Internet Explorer 9 mobile.

I don't understand this article. The title says ios5 beats windows mango but the video clearly shows iphone being the slowest?

If you read the article and not just watch the video, it says that ios5 will be faster and the video was a test from ios4

WMPowerUser just posted an article after having re-run the test. Mango scored 41 fps. Looks like Microsoft has already done some extra tweaking since the MIX11 demo.

Apple is just jealous that windows phone 7 can beat iphone in a battle on browser and other applications. ios 5 is copying blackberry and android. i have an iphone 4 currently and i love it but when i saw ios 5 and its copying i switched to the samsung focus. i cant believe apple copying. i lost all respect for apple.

Actually bilal ur wrong I am using iPhone sincelast 3years N I think that apple is not copying other OS special blackberry and android Bcos these r the OS which r launched after iOS n specially android is copying iOS Bcos apple always says think differentN it does too
