Skype For iPad Coming Soon; Demo Video Leaked
It looks like Skype is finally going to release Skype for iPad app. Skype for iPhone app is one of the most popular apps in the App Store.
Folks at RazorianFly report that Skype briefly posted a promo video of the Skype for iPad app on their YouTube channel and then quickly removed it.
It is not clear why Skype removed the YouTube video but TUAW reports that Skype VP of Consumer and Product Design Rick Osterloh has confirmed in an interview that Skype is planning to release an iPad app.

Yeah I know this is not an android site I have a ipad 1, Ipad 2 and a Iphone 4, I also have a Moto Atrix and I would like to see Skype with video on all devices thats the only reason I mentioned the Android Version.

That is so freaking awesome but why would you need it with facetime.

Not everyone has an iphone/ipad or mac, so facetime is not always available. Skype is a good alternative.I just saw their website advertising it for ipad, but nothing on the apps store yet.
