Comex - developer of JailbreakMe – popular browser-based jailbreak tool, who is expected to release a new version of the tool to jailbreak iPad 2 had teased us by updating the website with a photograph of a ski slope with a sign that says “PDF”, which suggested that he has discovered a new PDF exploit – similar to the one used for JailbreakMe 2.0. This led to speculations that he may release JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak iPad 2.

This is awesome!! I experienced the first jailbreakme Safari based hack, and I can say it was great! Here is the only problem, and why I feel a little sorry for Comex...With iOS 5 coming out, we have already know that the jailbreak concept will have to change based on what Apple has done to the SHSH blobs. I have iOS 5 Beta2 installed on my iPad and iPhone 4 (at&t). I can tell you that it runs better than my 4.2.1 jailbreak with all the tweaks. So, i feel sorry for Comex because he has obviously spent a TON of time on this awesome jailbreak, but it will be null and void in a few months because people aren't going to want to miss the functionality iOS 5 has for 4.3.3 half working jailbreak apps/tweaks.

@ Joenah.. there is far to much functionality introduced via jb that apple still has not addressed and will likely milk over the next so many ios releases.

Thank you comex for all the jailbreaks and what you have showed us you can do... You have made us enjoy this device more than what it is and without the jailbreak, it wouldve been boring as hell... Keep up the good work and looking forward to enjoying my iPad 2 soon even more :D

I think he would get more mileage out of JailbreakMe 3.0 if he unleashes it on iOS5.If he releases it now, Apple may close the gate on the exploit with iOS5.0.

If he waits for iOS5, it's gonna take at least 2 more moth for it to come out, plus jailbreak time, which is unknown.Its gonna take forever than, If jailbreak is not coming out right now, we doomed..... Its not good that iOS 5 is coming soon, I hope Comex will do something with it, cuz we can't do **** here!

I use my Ipad 2 almost for everything.... the only missing part is the phone part, but thanks to Iphoneislam.com this can be done, use you 3g ipad as a phone... in that way I will have a complete office with my ipad, nothing else to ask... I can use the JB, I hope this guy is not teasing or having fun, I really hope this is for real....

I Especially want it to work on the MC models because my iPod 2nd Gen won't jailbreak with redsn0w, greenp0ison or the other snow app.Help would be appreciated

I so can't wait for this jb for ipad2 it's just no fun wivout it and if there was no such thing as jailbreaking I would of got board wiv apple products along time ago thank you comex for this upcoming jailbreak I've only had my iPad 2 for a month and I m getting bored already keep up the good work
