Apple's Suppliers Preparing For Launch of iPhone 5 And iPad 3 In October
We're eagerly waiting for Apple to release their next generation iPhone, especially since they didn't unveil it at the WWDC 2011.
It has been widely speculated that Apple will launch iPhone 5 later this fall, along with the release of iOS 5. Taiwanese publication - DigiTimes reported earlier today that based on their sources, upstream suppliers in Apple's manufacturing chain have started preparing for the launch of iPhone 5 and iPad 3 in October.

We should stop this iPad 3 in September rumour right away. Its not coming before March next year!

I agree the iPad 3 is not going to be coming out before next year. that would be stupid unless they plan on selling both.

iPad 3 six months after iPad 2 release would be a HUGE **** move on Apples part. I dont think they're dumb enough to piss off 20 million customers.

Although I doubt it would happen, there's nothing wrong with it if they did. There's a new android device coming out every two weeks and I don't see any huge outcry from consumers over it.

I think android is a little different. Andriod is an operating system that is on many devices sold by many companies. So you will always have something different coming out. But if an ipad 3 came out right after you kicked out money for the 2, I think people would be pissed off. just a thought.(not saying your opinion is wrong)

Definitely buying the iPhone 5. Love the iPad 2 but will upgrade to 3 whenever it comes out.

Ive been reading 'rumours' that it wont be an iphone 5, but rather 4gs or something like that?

An iphone5/4s launch in October could be diabolical for me! My iphone3gs contract expires then, and if Apple has comprehensively addressed all (or enough) of the issues I have with using my iphone, they may just ensnare me again for 2 years!

This will not happen they wouldn't say "This year is going to be the year of the iPad 2" if the iPad 3 is getting out 6 months after. And let's face it, Apple is still ahead on the tablet market.

I'll definite buy this iPad 3 when it's out, whether this year or next year, I can wait. iPad 2 screen resolution is not good enough cause I can see the pixels on the display.

**** the iPad 3. I got the iPad 2 when it came out and I can't stand the fact that there's no jailbreak available yet. I hardly even use it :/

I jailbroke mine within the first two months of release and now there is an official one. Jailbreakme 3.0

It should not be so hard to imagine an iPad refresh this year. The Macbooks get them. Macbook Air just got one. Ipads could get them. But it would suck if it was a complete remodel; more power, better battery, good. I got the 1, skipped on the 2 to wait on 3. So you know I am anxious.
