Polyonix: Jailbreak Tweak Will Allow Users To Run Multiple iPhone Apps Side By Side On The iPad
Aaron Ash - developer of jailbreak apps like Multifl0w - which brought Expose-like multitasking to iPhone and iPod touch, SmoothBoard etc. has figured out a way to run multiple iPhone apps side by side on the iPad.
In a blog post, he has revealed that he has managed to hack the iPad to be able to play two Angry Birds games side by side.

What do you mean miss this feature? Was running more than one app supported natively by the ipad at some time?
-
Are you really this stupid? Take a look at the screenshots again!

No you idiot. I was referring to this statement:"Though running two games of Angry Birds doesn't seem to be best use of the jailbreak tweak, it is seems like a useful jailbreak tweak if you miss this feature on the iPad."Learn to read. I was wondering about the use of the word miss.

The implication that we might miss this feature seems to mean that the iPad once had this ability which, to my knowledge, it never did.

I totally thought the same thing Travis. This JB tweak is amazing and it creates all kinds of true multitasking abilities. Can't wait!

you took my username! I used Z for the longest time......oh well you can have it i suppose, i have stopped viewing this site regularly due in part to commenters.

Yay I can read safari and play angry birds. I might actually beat the game now that I can read a walk through while I play lol. Anyways looking forward to seeing if I can run two emulators at the same time to play multiplayer haha.

Awesome but iPad 2 users are stuck.

This actually seems useful. I could see the potential of it enhancing multitasking, being able to see info you might need online with the app your working on already next to it ready to receive whatever info you were looking for. Kind of cool. Work the bugs out and you have something there

I think I would like this feature. One reason why the iPad can't replace a regular laptop is because of the ability to have multiple windows or apps side by side. App switching just doesn't cut it for me.

You can watch TV like justin.tv while surfing the web! Way cool man! :D
