Swype – Popular Alternative Keyboard For Android Devices Unofficially Ported to iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch
Swype – the most popular alternative keyboard for Android devices has been unofficial ported to iOS device and is now available on Cydia.
Swype is all about swiping, instead of tapping the letters on the keyboard, with Swype all you need to do is swipe the finger between the letters without lifting it to input words. It is considered a faster and easier data input method on virtual keyboards.

It'd be great if auto correct didn't kick in and mess up the words sometimes. And the blue tracer line would be sweet. It's beta tho so perhaps in the future..

Trying it out. Does take some time to get use to but still needs some work. Would love for the blue line part to be working. But it is beta so bugs are to be expected

Useless, it doesn't work on iOS 5. Good work developers look forward to seeing a compatible version soon.

Tried It out but no support for IPad 1 on OS 4.3.3. Fingers crossed though

Downloaded it, works ok on my iPhone 4 running 4.3.1a bit of a pain when the iPHone tries to bring up the alternate characters, don't know how to bypass that. Hopefully I get used to it and it improves.Thanks for the heads up!

I could be wrong but what is emoji? Isn't that kind of a keyboard?If emoji can get approved buy swype can't then what te hell?

Didn't the shapewriter app ages ago offer this but with the trace functionality

emoji is for smile faces and cartoon type stuff

Will try it soon but since it's beta it's going to be buggy... I'll come back later and give my feedback on it. As of right now I love the work that has been given to make this happen

Apple should just license it and integrate it into iOS, i'm sure there will be many who would like using swipe vs type.

Damn just got the update with the blue tracer lone and he's removed the key press pop up, WTF makes it bloody harder now to see what I'm typing.

I installed swype and it didn't work well on my iphone 4. It actually interfered with other apps so I uninstalled it. I came across Iswipe another free app and it works alot better and smoother. It even comes up with a suggestion bar with words similar to what you are swiping. Didn't see that in swype.
