Apple Retail Store Display iPad Jailbroken Using JailbreakMe 3.0
Comex released JailbreakMe 3.0 earlier in the week, which is one of the easiest jailbreaking solutions, as it allows users to jailbreak their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch using Mobile Safari, without needing a computer.
9 to 5 Mac reports that one of their readers has managed to jailbreak Apple Retail Store iPad 2 display using JailbreakMe 3.0.

Tho I appreciate the jailbreak loads I had to put a block on our works router to it. Selling iPads and iPods etc would cause chaos if they were jailbroken

Tried it today at Best Buy but I wasn't allowed access to jailbreakeme.com site or iphonehacks.com. Anybody know any way to get around this. I'd love to post a video on You Tube. Help me please!

Its just my opinion, but I don't think one or two people jailbreaking a display unit really makes a difference to apple in the big scheme of things. If there's an exploit that can be patched, you can be sure Apple will make every effort to patch it as soon as possible, like every other past jailbreak exploit, jailbreakme or not.

If you have wifi hotspot available use that instead. You should be able to connect to jailbreakme.

I will make a personal hotspot from my iPhone to jailbreak iPad in the store.

The things we do in the name of freedom...if I paid a lot of money for MY iPad tablet, i expect to install some sort of apps from here, there and everywhere, otherwise, i am just RENTING the iPad...can you see the difference or need a graphic to understand?...
