iSuppli: 4G LTE iPhone Would Be More Expensive To Make
With the launch of the fifth generation iPhone delayed to fall this year, there have been some speculations that this could give Apple enough time to add support for 4G LTE networks.
However, there are various reasons that Apple is unlikely to launch a 4G LTE iPhone this fall and iSuppli, electronics market research firm believes that cost could be one of the reasons.

The sooner apple brings out a 4G iPhone the faster network pervader around the world will roll out 4G

That could be why they are being delayed. people would pay more money if they were 4G LTE capable. but if they did that they should also release the iPhone 4S for people that didn't want 4G

I think they'll advertise it as a 4G phone, but allow it to run on HSPA+ and call that 4G. Question is, will it run on T-Mobile's bands or AT&T's?

i wont have 4G in my area for a long time so it doesnt matter to me. However Apple needs to get on that LTE 4G bandwagon now and not wait another year like they did with 3G. That small increase in cost isnt that big a deal and apple would still make their money on the phone so lets get it done.

Apple needs to apply this 4G LTE. Theyre makin Billions of dollars on their products. Stop being a cheapo

A phone that uses newer technology would cost more to make?!? No sh**.

I dont think its wise to increase prices more than what it is now.

Absoutly not, I would not get an iphone 5 if it does not have 4G capabilities.
