JailbreakMe 3.0: Comex Fixes 'Cydia Disappears' Issue
Comex released JailbreakMe 3.0 last week, which is one of the easiest jailbreaking solutions, as it allows users to jailbreak their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch using Mobile Safari, without needing a computer.
However, some of our readers reported that they were not able to successfully jailbreak and install Cydia on their iOS device. They complained that they briefly noticed Cydia being installed on the home screen and then it just disappeared.

I finally had to switch teams & jailbreak as Apple just keeps teasing with futures to come for what I've now got. Worked great & very easy. Highly recommend.

what do i do if i forgot to upgrade to 4.3.3 and launched jailbreakme 3.0 on my ipad 1. as you probably know, i just have the apple logo and itunes cannot recognize the device to even restore.

DT,Just plug the sync cable to your computer with iTunes on and hold the home button on your idevice and than connect your idevice to your sync cable without letting go of the home button until iTunes asks you to restore and that should do it. If you still have problems do a search on YouTube.

I am still having the problem where clicking on Install causes Cydia to appear briefly on the home page, then it disappears before it loads. On 4.3.3 for 3GS.

Do a full restore with 4.3.3 then JB again will solve the problem.

my iphone 3gs has been successfully jailbreak with 4.3.3 but there is an issue where..when i install SBsetting..the storage of my memory shows only 6mb left...then i use the Sysclean to gain the memory..then after use the sysclean my iphone get freeze...when i restart it stuck with the blank..even i on off the iphone my iphone stuck with the blank after the apple logo..

has anyone tried to install Bitesms after they install Comex update thru cydia for the jailbrealme 3.0 fix, if so did it work or does it still cause the iphone to crash.

Yep. Had the same problem after I tried to JB over a very week mobile network data connection. Had to run a restore and then JB at home over Wi-Fi without any problems.

Jailbreak works fine, but sometimes when I close Cydia (double tap home and shut down programs) I get a circle of dots, and some pixelation just @ that, until I flip a couple of pages then it dissapears again... Anyone else get this?

I had the same issue and tried Jailbreaking twice. The result is the same. I think this is a bug from JailbreakMe 3.0. I hope Comex fixes that too. Not much of a problem but it would be nice not to have pixelation error

i was on irc last night chatting to comex and he said something funny about musclenerd from the dev teamwhen jailbreakme 3 was released there was only a credit for jay freeman and comex himself and chmpwn but musclenerd was upset because comex is a member of the dev team and asked comex to include his name in the credits which comex didso on jailbreakme.com musclenerds name is on there and he did not do any work on the jb himselfi think that is really sad thing to dobut what do you lot think??

I have iPhone 4 iOS 4.3, but no knowledge on hacking phone so i would like to know few things. Is this jailbrake allows me to turn on/off my phone without i tunes or computer. Also i already have cidiya installed and i am wondering should i install it again? Thanks a lot who helps.

any word or news on why this doesn't work on a 3g? or if there is a way? i would love this as my sleep button doesn't work and can't manually enter DFU mode :(

I jail broke my iPod touch 4th gen then I turned it off a couple days later and I had to restore my iPod and now if I go to jailbreakme it says thy it's not supported on my device nd I'm on a 4.3.2 iOS someone plz help

When you go to jailbreakme it should show Cyrus then a button under it thy says free then u click that then click install
