iOS 5 Beta 3 Enables AirPlay Mirroring For FaceTime
Folks at TiPb have discovered that iOS 5 Beta 3 enables AirPlay Mirroring for FaceTime – Apple’s video calling feature.
Apple had seeded iOS 5 Beta 3 to developers of iOS developer program couple of days back.
TiPb reports:
The ability to easily start a video call and beam it onto the big screen is compelling. Whether it’s grandpa and grandma, or the team in England, it takes FaceTime from a small, personal experience to a big, group experience at the touch of a button.

Sounds cool. I most likely won't use it as I've only used FaceTime twice since I got my iPhone. And I got it my iPhone the day after it came out.

So once ios5 is released this will only work with iPad 2 and not iPhone 4 correct?

No it works with both.

How will this work?I mean,if I'm FaceTime-ing on my iPhone 4 and AirPlay mirror it on the tv, I can't look at the tv coz the iPhone will still need to transmit my video back to the recipient. So the iPhone will keep coming in the way of me looking at the tv. This doesn't make any sense. Hope I'm wrong though
