iOS 5 Beta 3 Brings Photo Editing Features To iPhone 3GS
When Apple unveiled iOS 5 at WWDC 2011, it showcased the updates to the Photos app as one of the major new features.
The Photo app will finally get the much needed photo editing features such as the ability to crop, rotate, enhance, and remove red-eye right in iOS 5.
But when Apple seeded the first two beta versions of iOS 5 to developers, the new photo editing features were not available to iPhone 3GS users in the Photo app.

Glad to know Apple hasn't forgotten about us 3GS owners.

That was also in the First beta...

ios5 seems to be a worthy upgrade! Seems Apple is ramping up their competitiveness now. And especially to allow it for iphone3gs users like me - there are a lot of us who've had our time with iphone and are ready to jump ship at the upcoming ends of our 2 year contracts *unless* Apple brings us some improvements, so giving 3gs users a taste of the next generation of ios software will tempt us to stick to Apple for our next upgrade - this is a timely and canny move on Apple's part.

Yes, the photo editing features were available for iPhone 4 users in the first betas, but not for iPhone 3GS users.
