Apple Discontinues Boxed Retail Software; Promotes Mac App Store As The Primary Software Distribution Channel
Remember when Apple took off the CD from the iTunes logo? Yeah, that was Apple's way of giving the good old Compact Discs a farewell. The sans DVD MacBook Air, the Mac App Store, the Snow Leopard USB stick all were subtle ways, Apple chose to tell the world that CD and DVDs are soon going to be obsolete. And then at WWDC this year, Apple dropped a bomb, Mac OS X Lion wasn't going to "ship", instead it would be available as a download from the Mac App Store.

I like this Idea, cause it allows more Room on the retail floor for more Apple Products especial over the Holiday Seasons. Besides..I have Broadband so it only took me 30mins in total time to install LION.

GREEN and Enviromental Protection, but basically, I think it will do good for Apple itself, as well. Because it can control legally using Apple's S/W which could still produce profits after everyone has an APPLE device.
