Location-Based Reminders Working In iOS 5 Beta 4?
Reminders is one of the new apps that will come pre-installed with iOS 5 and showcased at the WWDC 2011 Keynote.
The Reminders app allows you to store list of things to do. You can store date associated with these reminders, so you’re reminded about the to-do list on that date.
You can also assign a location to the reminder, which is probably one of the cool features of the app. So you can say if you want to be reminded about the to-do list when you arrive or leave a location.

That means it will work flawlessly in iOS 5 GM :)

actually, the location based reminders were working just fine since beta 1, at least for me. The accuracy or sensitivity is not that great and it really depends on your location and proximity of gsm towers. The mechanism seems to be based on significant location changes and is triggered by switching to a different gsm base station.Wojtek

I'm missing the "at a location" function, on Ios 5b4 :-(

working from beta 1 for me

Not working for me (now on beta5) Is this an incompatibility with exchange maybe?

these are not working for me on my iphone 3gs on ios 5 beta 5

Anything else on the missing "at a location" function? I am also having that problem on beta 6. Andy mentioned exchange. I have exchange calendars but they are off.

Yep, it's an Outlook issue. When you turn Reminders off in your Outlook account settings the location option appears in reminders.

I have an iPhone 4, final release version of ios 5 and I turned off reminders in exchange. Locations appeared in the reminders app, allowed location. Turned back on reminders in exchange and everything worked correctly.
