Verizon Activated 2.3 Million iPhones In Q2 2011; Expecting iPhone 5 This Fall
Verizon delivered a strong second quarter results on Friday thanks to the iPhone. Verizon activated 2.3 million iPhones.
It is lower than the 3.6 million iPhones activated by AT&T in the same quarter, but one needs to remember that iPhone 3GS, which is the entry level iPhone does not work on Verizon’s CDMA network, so Verizon only sells iPhone 4s.
