It looks like Apple is planning to include face recognition capabilities in iOS 5.

9 to 5 Mac has discovered several face recognition APIs in iOS 5 beta 4 that was seeded to developers late last week.

i think face recognition would work a lot better with a better quality camera that does the scanning so hopefully IP5 willhave that

I have used recognize me, but it surely sucks, almost never recognizes me or takes forever to do it. I hope that apple brings a better face recognition solution...

han visade olika ansikten men inte en ända gång visade han om någon hade en bild på personen i fråga och satte den framför kameran om det skulle funka eller inte sedan tror jag att det finns en massa andra omvägar för att förbigå den typ av säkerhet. men det lär bli mer och mer sådant i framtiden.

iOS 5 just keeps getting better! Notifications, tasks, pc-free, wi-fi sync and now facial recognition!! I've been testing iOS 5 Beta for a couple of weeks now - trust me it's awesome! I got my UDID activated at www.instantudidactivation.com - they're quick and cheep and they helped me get it installed on my iPad - good group of guys over there.
