iPhone 5 Launch In Second Week Of September, iPad 3 Later This Year
The China Times claims that Apple will launch iPhone 5 in the second week of September, and the iPad 3 launch around Thanksgiving.
The report goes onto say that Apple has placed an initial order of 4 million iPhone 5 units out of which 400,000 units have already been shipped to Apple for testing purposes. The iPad 3 launch is delayed until Thanksgiving due to component shortages.

The iPad is not coming for a wile. Apple would damage the product sales. Some will wait, some will miss out and other would be mad to find that iPad 3 is out. They can't fuc& up the release date. The never had and never will.

I don't know why these rumors of an iPad3 keep getting repeated, they have been shot down numerous times by reputable sources. Not to mention, I think Apple learned it's lesson with the iPhone and iPhone 3G (i.e. it doesn't want to give refunds to a bunch of people)

What if they release an expensive iPad with a lot more features? Even if it did eat into iPad 2 sales, Apple would be more than happy to let that happen since it would get more revenue off the new model

they did that for the macbook air. 2010 model came out in october. Now they have the 2011 in July!! you never know...
