Apple To Hold Media Event On September 7th? Will It Unveil iPhone 5 Along With iPods?
It has been widely speculated that Apple will launch the eagerly awaited next generation iPhone - iPhone 5 at a special event this fall. There have been several rumors that have suggested that it will be launched in September, though more recent rumors have claimed that it will be October, not September.
Mac Rumors reports that Japanese site - Kodawarisan has revealed that Apple is planning to hold a special event on Wednesday, September 7th.

Yeah right how can people believe that bs about an iphone 5 coming this year, there will be no iphone 5 till june 2012 mainly bc apple wants to throw out the 4g lte capable phone that at the same time att will unveil to the world

I believe that usually it gets announced and then a few weeks before the release they will start pre orders. It's usually not the same day
