Images Of Apple's Amazing New Spaceship Like Campus in Cupertino
Just days after WWDC 2011, Steve Jobs presented a plan to build a new Apple campus in Cupertino, CA before the city's governing council.
Today, the Cupertino website published a new set of documents, which give us a closer look at what the future working place of Apple employees will look like. It's just amazing.

UFO or iFO?Wouldn't be surprised to see Apple getting in on the next generation of space vehicles. And why not. NASA is failing. The market is wide open for private sector to step in. This probably is the first step to an orbital command unit that they can launch smaller iFO platforms from.

Any patents being filed on this? :P

Yeah, because Google might plan opening a spaceship like public garden in the future.

This reminds me of that cult group in San Diego that all committed suicide so aliens could pick their souls up. Weren't they found all dressed like Steve Jobs?

What an amateur design. This is a literal interpretation of Apple's design philosophy, a circle so everyone is connected on a simple to understand plan. That won't result in staff being any more connected to each other. I would argue that they will be less connected, as getting from one side of the circle to another will take much too long.A cruciform shape with atriums and courtyards would service the staff much better. With a number of smaller courtyard, rather than one large one, the staff would be able to 'break out' into a green space while still maintaining the feel of an intimate meeting space. The fact of the matter is, people like to be enclosed, we stick to the edges of large rooms and spaces. This large courtyard will be underutilized.

I think they will have tunnels underground that connect the sides of the circle with their opposites. They may even use flat escalators, just like the ones that are in use in the airports.

Seems a little to "pentagon"ish for me. Even though it's round.
