Apple To Phase Out Native Apple Store App in Favor of a Mobile Web App in 2012?
9 to 5 Mac claims that Apple may phase out the Apple Store app in favor of a web app that works in mobile Safari for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
According to 9 to 5 Mac's "proven source", Apple is planning to launch the mobile web app in 2012, which will make it simpler and more easily accessible for users compared to the native iOS app.

Makes sence. Been apples direction to push web app development for a while hasn't it? They really should practice what they preach. Apple store only though. App store won't. That would open way too many holes IMHO.
