Steve Jobs Resigns As CEO Of Apple, Elected Chairman Of The Board, Tim Cook Named New CEO
Apple's CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs has resigned as the CEO of Apple in a letter to the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple community.
Apple Board of Directors have named Tim Cook - Apple's Chief Operating Officer as Apple's new CEO and elected Steve Jobs as the Chairman of the Board, so we hope that Steve Jobs will still play an active role at Apple.

Thats pretty messed up man. If it wasnt for him, apple never would have come this far and we never would have had the iphone, ipad, ipod and imacs.

He is going to be the Chairman of the Board of directors of APPLE.So he hasn't left Apple, just decided that it he's getting old and he should get an age appropriate job, where he can't mess things up with stupid decisions
