Apple: iTunes In The Cloud Doesn't Stream Music
When Apple released iTunes Match beta yesterday, some developers discovered that iTunes in the Cloud also supports music streaming on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The blogosphere was excited with the news as until yesterday, iTunes in iCloud was perceived as a download only service. It looks like we were wrong about iCloud supporting music streaming (technically speaking).

my only question is:- how will we manage the music? Will it be organized by artist or album? Will we be able to create playlists? Will we be able to do everything we do today with our ipod app on the iphone?Or is is just a long list of 25.000 songs waiting to be downloaded, like the app store purchased apps section?

Nothing really changes from a user interface point of view, you basically access your music from the iPod app. Checkout the second video in this article to get a better idea:http://www.iphonehacks.com/2011/08/icloud-itunes-in-the-cloud-also-supports-music-streaming-on-iphone-ipad-ipod-touch-mac-and-pc.html

Other apps have been using this approach for years. My favorite is iSub.

Meh I just use StreamToMe. Works amazing. As long as your computer is on at home you can access all of your iTunes music. Best music streaming App in my opinion. This cloud thing seems pretty useless to me.

Compare the amount of money spent on power supply to your PC at home to that spent on iCloud service. The difference will tell you why most people prefer iCloud than streaming straight from home PC. I can't wait to start using the iCloud service ;-)

It does actually, there is a youtube video showing the same.

Really awesome but I'm at a residential college nearly all the time and I love to always listen to my music all the time in my mini hi-fi stereo but the only two problems are. 1) My stereo docking station isn't properly compatible with iPhones so I occasionally get the feedback sound. 2) I get really low signal in my bedroom on my O2 network. Would these be to much of a problem?
