Survey: Unprecedented Demand For Apple's iPhone 5
We're quite sure that most of you are eagerly waiting for Apple to launch the fifth generation iPhone, which has been delayed until fall this year instead of the annual refresh this summer.
BGR reports that according to a recent survey conducted by RBC Capital Markets, iPhone 5 is seeing an unprecedented demand ahead of its launch compared to iPhone 4.
RBC Capital Markets polled 2200 people August 2nd and August 10th for the survey and found the following:

Update: 2200 Apple Fanboys out of 2200 surveyed said they would be buying the new iPhone when it's releases. They have all been quoted as saying, "iPhones are so amazing! I can't wait to have the iPhone 5! All other phones suck and I can't wait to have the iPhone 5! iPhones are sooooooo amazing!"

to tell u the truth my iPhone 4 looks very old compared to the legion of android phones out there likebigger screen, super fast dual core cpu 1 GB ram i want that in my iPhone!!!!!if iPhone 5 still has 512 ram and small screen then suck it apple it is a joke!!!!!!!

If the new iphone has not got similar spec to the Samsung G2 then I am not getting rid of my iphone 4 that I bought outright direct from apple in the uk for £500

I've had every iPhone that's ever been launched and always got them on release day! But my iPhone 4 does everything I need, so unless iPhone 5 is really something amazing, I won't be buying!

I'm with Freddieboy...I'm 99% certain I'm going with the Galaxy S2 this time around (I got the 3GS release day so out of my 2yr contract) and won't be looking back. I just feel Apple has got lost with the times but I'll wait to see what the spec is but I'm tired of having to jb the thing to get what I want out of it and then continually playing cat & mouse.

Have a 4 32GB now. Very happy with it. Want to upgrade but ONLY if 5 has 64GB or more. Anything less and I would very likely go Android!

WHY do people want iphone 5? because iphone4 home buttons are spoilt.. and they are not willing to change to a different system :)
