Purported iPhone 5 Part Suggests Apple May Not Change Home Button?
We've heard some rumors and speculations, which have indicated that Apple may change the home button in the next generation iPhone. According to one of the reports, iPhone 5 may feature a larger capacitive home button that supports multitouch gestures.
However, folks at How to Arena (via AppleInsider) have discovered a purported iPhone 5 part on part supplier China Better's website, which suggests that Apple may not change the home button.

This is starting to scare me. We asaw all this nice cases with uneven level and wide looking device ...then rumors start to say it will have bigger screen and some people actually did CG of it and now past few day all I hear is ... nope iPhone will remain the same design wise and all it will change visually is back may be some other meteral. I mean come on this is Apple. ....Really ? Then again if you look at MAC PRO they have same design for past 11 years or something like that. Please please please ...all new design .. bigger screen dual core CPU nice GPU full 1080p video. AND ! With 5.1 iOS update it must also do blowjobs , cook, clean and kill Nerf in WOW instead of me cause I got no time to do it at allThanks !:D

If it aint broke why change, always like the 3gs/4 design, Only thing that needs upgrading is the internals

I know several people who have faulty home buttons that get loose over time and fail to work. Hopefully, Apple addresses that issue.

Apple took more than a year to develop iPhone 5, it will be truly disappointed if Apple iPhone 5 design look the same like iPhone 4. Perhaps should give Apple a good lesson on their attitude for keeping people wait for nothing.

Although gesture support would be cool, touch buttons suck. I've a friend with the Galaxy Tab and the home, back, and menu buttons are constantly inadvertently being pressed. Pain in the ass. I guess this may be a feature that takes getting used to but the large borders surrounding the screen are usefull and add a tangible amount of comfort while holding any device. As posted before. It ain't broke so don't fix it. Implement gesture but a physical button is a must. IMO

Its going to be a 4S just like the 3G had a 3GS. Spec only change. There has been no concrete evidence of a redesign anywhere other than a few fake cases. Personally I think the current size of the screen is perfect and I dont want a bigger phone that would be necessary for a bigger screen
