UK's Advertising Standards Authority Rules Apple's iPhone 4 Is The Thinnest Smartphone
UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has ruled that Apple's iPhone 4 is the thinnest smartphone in the country and not Samsung Galaxy S II.
UK's ASA had to step in after Apple's claim that iPhone 4 is the world's thinnest smartphone in a commercial was challenged by Samsung claiming that their Android-based Samsung Galaxy S II is actually thinner.

I'm not familiar with British advertising requirements. But is that something that can be worked around with the right wording? "Feels like the world's thinnest smartphone" or consumers call it "the world's thinnest smartphone"...

No crying here. S2 is a superior phone to the iPhone4 and will likely be superior to the iPhone5. Flash? native playback of flac/divx? Replaceable storage? Can you drag/drop files to your iphone? Don't get me wrong I've had 2 great years with the iPhone 3GS. At the time when I bought it, there was nothing like it at the time. Not the market has caught up and Apple has yet to step up their game.

Android's have a long list of things that are just better than the iPhone but there's a few things i can't get y they just don't work on to win the war. 1) Gap-less playback and 2) a solid store with high dev support. Which is the only reason y they can't get over the hill with apple.

Its funny how fun boys fight over iPhone and android but not iOS and android. 2 different things dumb fucks. I've been using iPhone since the first release and still own all the models produced. On the other hand i just got my hands on a free Mytouch 4G since i'm with t-mobile and to be honest, i haven't used my iPhone ever since, phone-wise. I still use it for my music since i have a huge library on that. I'm not going to say the Mytouch is better than the iPhone but they are both fast, responsive and smooth for me. I have even rooted my android os and have some nice customs on there. Stop being trolls and call a spade a spade.
