Couple of days back, MuscleNerd, member of the iPhone Dev team had revealed that he plans to release a major update for Redsn0w - their popular jailbreaking tool.
As promised, he has released a new version of Redsn0w - Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 with a number of new features.

But so far no JB for IPad2, right? It was delivered with iOS 4.3.5, so no shs blobs. I guess i have to wait for ios5 release and quick help from the Dev-Team. Damn ;/ ;) ...i'll wait

This JB didnt work out good for me :/, i have an iPhone 4, Factory Unlocked 4.3.5 and after the Jailbreak, there's only a Blank White Cydia Option which wont work and the worst part is my Safari stopped working! way to go nut heads!!! if you cant make something perfect for all people then why take it out?! any fixes?

H mate, The white icon means that you need to reboot tethered before you can use cydia for the first time

So tried to "boot tethered" in redsnOw and it just crashes the program. Any thoughts people. I have an iPhone 4 gsm running 4.3.5 and just used the new Redsnow application to jailbreak it.

I have never used the redsnow .I have to constantly repeat the same process ,again and again .Whats the point to have device ?!?! Dont upgrade and you got full working device with some tethered jailbreak from comex or somebody else .I realy not see the point ?Its like you dont need phone or got a need for tetris .S..for eng its not my mother language

Ameer, You need to reboot your device. If it's tethered, use redsn0w to boot tether it. If not, just restart it lol. Have fun!

That means your version has tethered JB capability. After JB, you have to use Redsnow again but this time you must choose "Just boot tethered right now" option and its done.

After jailbreaking my ipad 1 3g and re-booting in tethered mode, tapping settings on home screen no longer works and **** icon will not appear after installing from Cydia. Any suggestions?

Glad to see this progress! But... is it still impossible for me to SIM-unlock my phone? It's iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.5 with radio 4.10.01, and I do not have any Cydia blobs. As I understand it, even with tethered jailbreak, there's absolutely nothing I can do. Still waiting... :)

"Just Boot" function is broken. I can't get it to boot my phone after jailbreaking.

I did all the necessary steps and when I got install programs from Cydia, my iPhone starts to reboot and jst freezes after that

hi! doesn´t work with my 3GS, 4.3.5, 5.16.02, old bootrom (week 24); redsn0w 0.9.9b1 got stuck during "exploiting with limera1n" (same happened with 0.9.8b7b) at around 30% of the progress indicator (no firewall or anti-vir active).please, can anyone help me with that one...!

I’ve followed all the instructions as stated but after letting go of the power button and keeping hold of the home button it just hangs and says, “Waiting for reboot”, nothing happens and I have to restore my phone, i’m running Windows 7 64bit, any help would be appreciated!

I got it working on my 3gs older boot rom, after having picked newer boot rom option first. I did get the white icon after getting it to install, but then did do a tethered boot using Redsnow, and now all is good. Thanks Team!

To fix the crash that resnow has if ur using win 7 or vista for just boot tetherd u must right click the redsnow .exe and then go to compadability. check run as adimistrator and xp service pack to compatability mode. If it worked you know because you will see a pine apple logo instead of apple. Let me know how this works for you its worked with me on a win 7 64 bit os.
