Intelliborn Releases MyWi, My3G And TruPrint With iOS 5 Support
We continue to see developers of jailbreak apps adding support for iOS 5, which is expected to be released in the next few weeks.
Earlier today, we reported biteSMS released their jailbreak app for iOS 5 for beta testing. Few days back Intelliborn also released a new version of MyWi - a popular jailbreak app that enables unofficial tethering on jailbroken iPhone by turning it into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

only thing is, you pay for MyWi....and then if you use it AT&T somehow finds out, and they will upgrade your plan for you -_-!

How long until mywi releases a version that hides usage like PDA net? Usually intelliborn is ahead of the curve on stuff like this.

Well the jailbreak team is not far behind, kudos.

^^My thoughts exactly. This is useless given the clampdown situation for AT&T / Veribraton

Moved to pdanet a long time ago. Plus it a whole lot cheaper. $19.99?!

has anyone been using either apps, and have not gotten the upgrade by att ?

my3g is not worth paying for: it doesn't actually work with any of the apps you'd actually want to use it with.A quick list of applications you'd want it to work with but it doesn't:4od - TV streamingITV Player - TV Streaming5 Catchup - TV StreamingiCloud - backups over 3gAnd some apps you'd expect to need it for but don't:Facetime - just change one setting in one plist to enable Facetime over 3gBBC iPlayer - already works over 3gThe only app I've found that it both works with and is needed for is YouTube, and YouTube still works (albeit at a lower resolution) when it knows it's on 3g.
