Fake iPhones Assembled With Some Genuine Parts Seized In China [Video]
Shanghai Daily reports that Chinese police have arrested a gang of five people in Shanghai that produced and sold fake iPhones.
The most interesting part about the story is that some of the components used in these fake iPhones, were actually genuine.

This is probably one of the best fake Apple devices I've ever seen. A friend of mine used to have a rip off of the first gen iPhone, but it was terrible and very obviously fake. The one in that video looks relatively real.

To be honest, the average person would not know the difference but when I saw the settings menu, I couldn't believe how fake it looked. Shame Shame

I'm surprised they didn't download the iPhone firmware and find a way to put it on there. Apple has it on their servers after all.

Best fake Apple product? Lenovo is selling a "Pad" here, with almost the same form factor as the iPad. The one hard button on the device is more oval than round.I didn't play it enough to bother to check the OS, so I can't tell you what it's running.
