Apple Puts Up 'Let's Talk iPhone' Banner At Campus Auditorium - What Does The Invite/Banner Tell Us? [Updated]
With less than 2 days to go, Apple has put up the banner for the Let's Talk iPhone event at the Town Hall auditorium at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, which is going to be the venue for the big media event.
Apple is expected to unveil the next generation iPhone, a new entry level iPhone 4 and the new iPod product line. Apple is also expected to announce the release date for its next generation mobile operating system - iOS 5 and iCloud - its new cloud based service.

I would have thought the '1' meant 'One New Message' in relation to to the event, rather than only one phone.

A cheaper iPhone is a good move for apple, as a lot of people don't have the iPhone because of the price. But not releasing a redesigned iPhone could be a bad move, although, most people I know, including myself are perfectly happy with iPhone 4. I'm more excited about ios5, as I'm running beta now and it's fantastic, the only thin I'll miss is the new assistant feature.

I think it must be an Iphone 5, as the IOS is IOS5 when it went to 3GS it was still IOS3, Iphone 4 IOS4 etc etc.....just my 2 pence worth

I think it refers to 1 phone. But that means "world phone" so 1 phone to cover all the possible networks. I reckon there'll be a iPhone 5 and a cheaper version of the iPhone 4

The iphone 3gs is only $50... most phones are more expensive than that. It may be outdated but in the end it can still run almost all the same apps the iphone 4 can. Most people only use they're smart phone for email, Facebook, and texting anyway.
