Apple will be unveiling its next generation iPhone at the Let's Talk iPhone event in less than 24 hours.

In addition to the launch of the fifth generation iPhone, Apple is also expected to announce the release date for iOS 5 and iCloud services, unveil the next generation iPods, possibly also announce Project Spartan and launch of the official iPad app with Facebook and tell us about their revolutionary new Assistant feature.

    Nice idea but I think this will eventually backfire as someone will figure out a way to hack the app into being permanently installed. At any rate, as a user who does buy apps from time to time, I would welcome this new feature.

    If i know how the rented app could be hacked into a permanent app, then most likely i already jailbreak my iphone and start using ****. U know what i mean.

    This is true unless the hack would not require any modification to your device and is possible through manipulating itunes and/or some its files. Just thinking about the other end of the coin which I'm sure developers will be doing as well

    I think this should have been there from day one of the App Store, as should app trials.
