Apple Releases iOS 5 Golden Master To Developers
As expected, Apple has just released iOS 5 Golden Master (build 9A334) to developers of iOS Developer program.
iOS 5 GM is available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4th generation, iPod Touch 3rd generation, iPad and iPad 2.
The Golden Master version means that it is the shipping version of the software that developers must use to submit their iOS apps that are compatible with iOS 5.

Can GM builds be installed on non developer iPhone 4s and work without a developer account, since they are the shipped version?

Should be able to soon, I've been on iOS 5 beta since they first released and I don't have developer account

I just installed the GM on my iPhone 4 with no developer account and works fine, no jailbreak required :) .

so no siri for ipad2 :-( i was hoping it would work considering the ipad2 is similar to the iphone4s, but alas :-(

I guess because of the RAM difference. Or that they will keep for iPad 3.

Hope, jailbreak community will do something to revive Siri on iPhone 4.. Apple, always thinking about getting money..

Is the phone service working fine on it? I tried few iOS 5 betas already and ended up having an iPhone with (No Service) message displayed on the statusbar!

Yeah everything works fine, took a bit to find the services but then popped up, and reali is running fast now :) .

Yes I've been running ios5 gm since it was seeded no issues.
