iPhone 4S Features: Exhaustive List Of Phrases Siri Can Understand
One of the biggest selling points of Apple's new iPhone 4S is Siri - the intelligent personal assistant feature.
Using Siri, you can use voice commands to compose and dictate emails, schedule meetings, place phone calls, it can also find answers for you from the web through sources like Wikipedia, Yelp and WolframAlpha and do lots more.

Say you're struck by amnesia or you're way too stoned. Can you ask it "who am i? "

Not sure if everyone knows this as yet but SIRI is yet in BETA....the apple site says so...and right now it's not available in any other country besides the US...not even Canada....that's right!...probably training her to interject every statement with an "eh!' would take a while......

Great for outdoors!!! Could you imagine?? Don't even need the iPhone itself. It could be in your backpack and your wearing Bluetooth ear buds. You in the forest. Tap your ear. "what kind of edible vegetation is around me?""what's the simplest way to make a rain proof shelter with the surrounding materials""where is the local water source?""what native vegetation can cure my upset stomach?""how do I set a broken arm??""translate "I need help" in Japanese"So on and so on. Imagine being in nature and using your iPhone to be Bear Grills???? Epic epicness. Siri paired with Bluetooth ear buds? Library of Alexandria baby?

Win, right there.

I keep saying this over and over. This will be a very useful feature and not just a gimmick. Although I've seen various sorts of voice recognition on other phones, I haven't seen anything thats so intuitive and works so well. I'm interested to see how well other manufacturers can implement this without it sucking

Already use my Galaxy S2 to send texts while driving, works well ,voice control while driving is really useful may even save lives

Siri,When does the iPhone 5 come out?

Re: "In case you didn't notice, it looks like Siri brings the much needed search feature for notes."Huh? The iOS Notes app *has* search. In the list of notes, when at the top, drag down. You will get a search field. This is similar to how you get a search field in many apps, especially Apple ones.I'm not at all fond of this, however; it doesn't lend itself to discovery. Why they just don't have a fixed field at the top or a search icon I can't guess.

WELL THAT'S A GOOD COMMAND THERE :D

You can ask Siri - "When is 20,000 days after January 1, 1960" and she will tell you. :) I'm still hoping for "How many days old am I?" but you can ask "how many days has it been since ?" and Wolfram Alpha will show you how many days, years, weeks, etc it has been.

Siri for now is practically useless. It can be so frustrating. I am not sure how the reviewers got such consistent results. Maybe it worked better before the general public were accessing the servers.Does anyone else remember the Apple Newton with it's handwriting recognition? It was a great idea, but the execution was flakey and annoying.

I don't see how you can be so obtuse especially since we share the same name. Siri is so cool and useful. Don't know what obtuse means? Ask Siri. She will tell you.

Don't be angry that your stupidity is public.
