Facebook For iPad Now Available In The App Store
After several months of rumors and speculations and more than one and a half years after Apple introduced its hugely successful tablet, Facebook has released its eagerly anticipated iPad app.
Facebook app is now available as a universal app in the App Store.

The "via iPhone" or "via iPad" famous signature at the bottom whenever you make a comment or update your status doesn't exist anymore when you update the app. Hope Facebook brings this back.

@Tareef: Yeah, happened to me too. Delete the Facebook App on your device. Download the latest Facebook App from the app store and install it. That solved the issue for me.

I don't even have to try it to know that most likely it sucks. The iphone version sucks so bad and is buggy and lags. I use facepad for my ipad. I like it a lot!

the iphone one is much better, and with how much the google+ app looked like the old facebook app, i can see why they would finally update

cant even have friends as favorites like the old app let you do on the iphone. now my friends i frequently interact with takes 4 more steps to go thru and search for there name everytime i wanna interact. urghh

is there any way of getting the old version of the fackbook app back for iphones?i hate the new layout and just want the one with the grid homescreen back?:)

Wish they'd add the ability to video chat like on the desktop version. It's the perfect app to use the front facing cam on the ipad 2, but they keep overlooking it. I'm guessing since it has an install base greater than the iphone, it directly competes with facetime.

Now, that's a nice Facebook GUI. How I wish that when you flip your iPhone or iPod touch, horizontally, it'll look like that; but that's just wishful thinking.Oh, and I thought Facebook is already installed in the iPad.
