iPhone 4S Benchmarks: ~68% Faster Than iPhone 4; ~800MHz A5 Processor; 512MB RAM
It looks like quite a few folks have managed to get their hands on Apple's new iPhone 4S.
Yesterday, Chinese Website - AppVV.com had published a hands-on video of iPhone 4S, which revealed some early benchmarks of the device. Primate Labs now reports that Geekbench results for iPhone 4S have started appearing on the Geekbench Result browser.

Old technology, underclocked and with only 512MB RAM. Yawn.

Remember the HP Touchpad was a 1.2GHz dual core, and yet it ran half the speed of the iPad2 at 1GHz. Rumours were that HP installed Web OS on an iPad and it ran at twice the speed, which is why they scrapped the Touchpad. Clock speed isn't everything, and I'm sure before long there will be 'a hack for that'.

it's a webos... it can be run through mobile safari, go back and read the articles, they explained it all, and yes, even as a non-native os running on top of ios, it ran faster than on the touchpad. HP knew they had crap hardware that was not up to date, hence why it was scrapped.

So the iPad is still faster, boo. Common Samsung clocks Galaxy S2 HD at 1.4 GHZ.
