Thank you ! . And god damit :-/ I can't wait that long

I suggest updating a jailbroken device from DFU mode. As far as I understand it isn't necessary but Just my two cents.

I also have a an iPhone 4 jailbroken on 4.3.3 but damn it so hard and tempting not to update to the new iOS 5... They've made it so irresistible that im willing to give up the jailbreak for it...Its good to see they've added so many new features into it and most of them are from jailbreak tweeks anyways! The biggest thing i'll miss if i update would be **** - thats all!!!

Just open iTunes, wait till you see your iPhone in iTunes, click on summary and then click on update. The update is kind of like re imaging your computer. It backs up you iPhone, then gives the update. Then it will restore your apps. I would actually suggest you click restore. It will take it back to factory settings. But make sure you allow it to sync before you restore it. Once it is restored it will ask you if it is a new iPhone or the one you already have and have backed up. Choose the one you have backed up and it will have all of your books and apps backed up. Make sure you have all movies you have purchase in itune and not just saved on your iPhone or you will loose them. You can not re download movies that you have purchased and erased. Once you desire your iPhone you might see some jail broken apps still there. You won't be able to tell them apart from your purchased or free apps. The only way to tell is to click on them. If they don't work erase it. Your ready.

Just jailbreak ios5 then lol

True... But if I do I might as well just wait till the untethered gets released :) how excitement hehehe

What time would that be in Melbourne?

I like doing a restore as well. I also prefer to set-up as a new phone and the re-install everything. I know this is overkill but it comforts me to do the "house cleaning". This way I get rid of the apps I never use. Again. I realize that it is overkill, but my 3G(s) works just like the day I bought it, over two years ago. -aside from the battery life of course.

What time Will it be releasd in Denmark?

Wow that is pretty freaking stupid. Pretty much everyone from Los Angeles to London will be at work when its released, in the middle of the week. That's just cruel, what are they thinking? At least I don't have to stay up past Midnight Tonight, whatever Apple.

iCloud will be really interesting, cant wait to try it out.
-
My understanding, it won't be available till 1200 set
-
1200 eastern standard time

I have jailbroken iphone 4 4.3.3 fw. Itunes is 10.5 and still asking me to update to 4.3.5. though ios5 is already out, Is it possible to skip this update and jump to ios5? AmI missing something? Please help.

CAUTION:The new iPhone update enables a chip that has to ID any charging device because too many iPhones have been returned for fried charging circuits. Many home made or modified players won't charge now. The old 10k resistors with the USB connector no longer fools the phone into charging...

I have a jalbroken Iphone 4. If I migrate from MobileMe to Icloud what happens to my operating system and more importantly my jailbroken apps? Does migrating to Icloud automatically make u update to 5.0? Is there any other way to update contacts without going to Icloud since mobleme is going down June 2012?
