iCloud.com Goes Live
Apple continues to get ready for the iOS 5 and iCloud launch. Apple has just updated its iCloud.com website with a new login screen, which no longer says it's in beta.
But it still seems to be restricted to users to developers, though we're received some tips from our readers that they've manage to upgrade

I've been a long time Google user for email, contacts and calendar. I'm now trying to decide if I should transition over to icloud for those services. What do you guys think? It would be a lot of work having to change emails for pretty much the past few years of my online life.

Welcome to the #1 reason I've been very blah about iCloud except for the music services. I've already had all the "features" of iCloud for a long time with Google Sync. I just can't see the appeal just yet. And if my initial testing is any sign, it's a hell of a lot slower push than google.

Logged in, but, as Bravo_007 said, nothing is available except Find My iPhone. It wants you to have iOS 5 or OS X Lion.I'm torn right now. I really want iCloud, but I'm not sure I want to give up my jailbreak. Certain things in the jailbreak that are just SO GOOD. Tlert, I'm looking at you!

I may not be up on all the features of iCloud just yet but I don't understand why you would have to stop using google for calenders and mail just to use iCloud. Can you explain a little more why you have to choose to use only one?

@dakpluto, let me know when google sync allows you to restore your apps, device settings, text messages, etc from backup. Google sync, while good (although they still have the annoying issue of downsizing the resolution of contact pics to the iphone) was not designed to work intimately with your phone like iCloud.

Ahhh! Just migrated to iCloud thinking I could still sync iDisk and can't- please help!!!
